Whimsical Fall Wedding with Disney Inspired Decor

Words from the Coordinator:

Zach and Bee were a breath of fresh air when I met them! They are a super sweet and upbeat couple who just gave off good vibes. They let me know that they both work for Disney and they met there, so they were planning on having a fall wedding with subtle Disney and Halloween vibes. Can you imagine a more perfect scenario, because I couldn’t!

Their background:

As previously mentioned, the couple met working at Disney. The bride works at Animal Kingdom and the Groom at Magic Kingdom. Many of their wedding party and guests are also hospitality people with many of them working at the parks. Because of this, the couple decided on a weekday wedding that would accommodate more of their guests’ schedules. Their guests were super sweet and a blast to interact with on the day of the wedding.

The wedding:

The general aesthetic of the wedding was fall themed, with pumpkin candy holders on the cocktail tables and orange, yellow, and red fall leaves all over the venue. We loved the fall leaf garlands that they used to decorate the ceremony area, as this was something different we hadn’t seen before. The couple also opted for the live music route for their ceremony. Aloha Erica was an amazing addition to the vendor team and played upbeat songs on her acoustic guitar before and during the ceremony. She even learned a few of the couple’s favorite songs that aren’t normally in her repertoire, which impressed us!

During the reception they included centerpieces that they either created or thrifted themselves to celebrate the fact that they met working at Disney World. Each centerpiece was a nod to a different attraction at Disney and each one had a special place in their hearts. The table assignments were based off of these centerpieces which was a fun aspect for the guests as well! The couple had the most adorable mushroom and woodsy themed cake and cupcakes from Cake and Bake. They cut their small personal cake with a literal sword, which was terrifying but entertaining to watch (check out the picture of the bride holding up the sword). For the guests they had mushroom themed cupcakes that looked and tasted amazing.

After dinner we finally opened up the dance floor with music by Jazmin at Our DJ Rocks. You could tell that most of their friends and coworkers had been waiting for this moment all night. They danced for the remainder of the reception with tunes from Disney, High School Musical, and Rocky Horror Picture Show, to mention a few (I couldn’t get Time Warp stuck out of my head for days).  It was such a blast to watch this couple and their friends dance. You could tell they are truly made for each other!

Finishing comments:

We loved the cute and quirky decor provided by the couple. It felt very “them” and was different from the typical items and colors you see in Fall! Their entire wedding party had such a fun and carefree demeanor that is truly hard to find. Bee and Zach, we wish you nothing but happiness and love! Thanks for choosing Trellis 925 for your special day.
