Romantic Maroon and Cream Wedding

Words from the Coordinator:

Right off the bat, the first thing I noticed about Idayne and Ron is how organized but down to earth they both are. Once we got to talking during our meeting, I realized that they love to have a good time as well. The bride had pre-selected everything and was so on top of things in a way that I wish all my clients could be. You could tell she had a clear vision of what she wanted the look and vibe of their wedding to be. I was immediately on board with everything she had already picked out and I was super excited to see this wedding come to life.

Their background:

Idayne and Ron are both traveling nurses and based on their Instagram stories, they are living their best lives together! Since they travel for work they are constantly on the go and visiting a new place. They are both also super passionate about fitness and lifting, and it shows! They’re both absolutely gorgeous. Between working and working out, Idayne and Ron stay pretty busy but they also love going out to eat and trying new things.

The wedding:

They had a vision of maroon and lots of cream, to achieve a moody and romantic look. Trellis 925 was the perfect space for this, since we have a naturally darker space with brick and wall colors that really match this palette. For their ceremony, the couple rented the white infinity arch from Bluegrass Chic. It went well with the bride’s dress and all the creams and white accents in the wedding. Since we do a room flip at Trellis 925, this arch doubled as the backdrop for their sweetheart table during the dinner.

The wedding cake from B Cupcakes was tall and ornate and decorated in their wedding colors. They paired the cake with a neon sign with their names on the grass wall behind the cake table. This set a great backdrop for the couple to cut their cake and made for amazing photos.

The florals were the last piece of this dramatic look. Bluegrass Chic did an amazing job on the classic wedding florals with deep reds, blush, and whites. This palette truly never goes out of style and we were obsessed with the bride’s large bouquet.

After dinner the party got started and we opened the dance floor. All of the guests had a blast dancing into the early morning hours with music from Jazmin at Our DJ Rocks and drinks from Cocktails Catering. The couple had a great wedding party and a large group of friends who stayed to close down the party!

Finishing comments:

I could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding for this couple. The colors and florals they chose were gorgeous. I loved that even though this was a September wedding, they didn’t go for a traditional fall palette. They had top notch vendors and an even better wedding party. It was such a fun wedding to attend, even as a vendor! We are wishing Idayne and Ron a lifetime of happiness and blessings.
