Cancellation & Refund Policy

Draft template, pending review and approval by Trellis 925 and legal counsel. Last updated: [DATE TO BE CONFIRMED].

Please note: This is a structured starting point, not final policy or legal advice. All bracketed figures and windows must be set by Trellis 925 and reviewed by counsel before publication.

1. Booking Deposit

The booking deposit reserves your date and is [REFUNDABLE / NON-REFUNDABLE, TO BE CONFIRMED]. The deposit amount and its treatment are stated in your event agreement.

2. Cancellation by the Client

If you need to cancel, written notice is required. Refunds, if any, depend on how far in advance you cancel:

3. Rescheduling

Requests to move your date are accommodated subject to availability. Any rescheduling fee, deposit transfer, or deadline is described in your event agreement. [RESCHEDULING TERMS TO BE CONFIRMED.]

4. Final Balance

The final balance is due by [DATE / DAYS BEFORE EVENT, TO BE CONFIRMED]. Non-payment by the due date may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.

5. Booking Deposit

Where a refundable booking deposit rule applies, it is returned after the event within [TIMEFRAME TO BE CONFIRMED], less any deductions for damage or overage as described in your agreement.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Trellis 925

In the unlikely event Trellis 925 must cancel or materially change your booking, we will work with you to reschedule or, where appropriate, provide a refund as described in your agreement.

7. Force Majeure

If an event beyond reasonable control (such as severe weather, natural disaster, or government action) prevents your event, the options available, including rescheduling and any refund, are described here and in your agreement. [FORCE MAJEURE TERMS TO BE CONFIRMED.]
