Boho Floral Wedding
The Couple
Let's talk about one of the most humorous couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with - Briana and Ken.
Briana and Ken met when Briana entered through the back enterance of the retail store that Ken was working at. As they described it, she went through an open door next to the dumpsters of the store and Ken was very surprised to find someone who doesn't work there just popping in through the back and wandering around. I can't remember what they said on who exactly who made the first move but it was obvious that they had a great interaction and began dating.
One of their favorite things to do together is an improve comedy class they go to. They are both absolutely hilarious together and the room just fills with laughter as they banter.
The Atmosphere
For their big day, they wanted a very relaxed and bar-like atmosphere where their family could unwind and relax together. They described themselves and their guests all as talkers and hardly any dancers.
To accomplish this vibe, they chose to hire a two person band - Gilly and the Girl. Gilly and the Girl performed for both ceremony and reception taking breaks every 45 minutes as they would at a bar and mixing it up using a soundtrack from a phone currated by the couple on Trellis 925's sound system. I absolutely loved this for them because it really made it feel as if we were all at a bar just relaxing, drinking and talking - everything that the couple wanted!
The Decor
Their decor was very boho floral centered heavy on the candles. They brought in lots of fake florals for their centerpeices and got personal florals, and a flower crown, from In bloom Florals. They wanted to make sure each table was slightly different so they chose 2 different plans for the tables and mixed and matched items from Trellis 925's decor supply adding only some faux-florals to the tables (all different) to spice it up.
They also brought in extra LED candles to suppliment the supply at the venue so that they would have plenty of light and make their tables gorgeous. With little direction, they left the details to their coordinator, Claire, who was able to bring thier vision to life even better than they had imagined.
Their cake table was especially gorgeous with a beautifully designed cutting cake and cupcakes from Karina Confections that matched their boho-floral design inspiration. Paired with a Neon sign, the cake table was definitely one of our favorites.

Finishing Comments
We absolutely loved the way this couple took the space and made it into their dream wedding. They got rid of any traditions that didn't vibe with them and chose to keep everything simple by providing only candles and fuax-florals for decorations. They chose to bring in their own vendors to make the event what they wanted and used the Premium package so that everything was smooth on the day of. We especially appreciated the early night end, where the couple continued the party at Rocco's Tacos down the street but didn't have all the formalities so guests could have an early turn in if they desired.
